Bible Journaling - February 22, 2019

An introduction to visual faith and Bible journaling class was held at Our Savior on Friday, February 22nd, from 5:30-7:30pm. In this class, Karen H. introduced attendees to Bible journaling as a way to engage with scripture in a creative, visual, and hands-on way. She walked members through various approaches to visual faith and discussed how this approach can revitalize one’s faith, help to deepen one’s knowledge and understanding of scripture as one lives longer in the Word, strengthen one’s prayer life, and become a bolder witness to Christ’s love and salvation for His people.

Psalm 1-3: Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night. That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither — whatever they do prospers.
